Malay rights group Perkasa has agreed with former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad that former commando Sirul Azhar Umar's claims that he was ordered to kill Mongolian Altantuya Shaariibuu should be investigated.
Its president Datuk Ibrahim Ali said Dr Mahathir was not accusing, but just asking that Sirul’s claims be investigated.
"Mahathir is not accusing. He is asking to investigate Sirul's statement that he was ordered," he added.

Datuk Ibrahim Ali echos Tun M's statement to investigate who murdered Altantuya Shaariibuu murder. He said justice must be prevail and the murderer should be identified. This issue has been in the eye of world for many years and it has to be put to stop.
By doing so, Altantuya mystery lingering Malaysian soil should be cleared and solved once and for all.
Two special Malaysian special force personnel has been found guilty and sentenced dead penalty but one of them Mr.Sirul manage to flee to Australia. He further claim he was under order and did it after instructed to do so.
Today, Cheif Inspector Azilah, one of two former police commandos sentenced to death for the murder of former Mongolian will apply for review of the Federal Court's verdict.
