Good Bye 2020

As a Malaysian, many would remember the nation's vision 2020 inspired by TUN in the 80's. Vision 2020 is to make Malaysia to climb up from 3rd world country to the circle of "Negara Maju" or "Fully Develop Country"

As we end the year 2020 which for most of the people as a year never to be forgotten. It has not only made us lack of our vision for failing to be the most develop country but the year 2020 also have thought us that we are not needed and reflect how fragile humans are.

We are not allowed to be stand psychically close to each other. NO touching, not hand shake, no kissing, no hugging, no gathering, no partying, no close contact sports game, and we are required to stay home. Working from home on line, seeing loves one in virtual reality is totally a new level for mankind.

Looking at the economy growth, we can agree that no country did plus point. In fact human's normal life  has to be adopted to all new level that we name it as new norm which thought us finance is not about everything.

Politically, everyone knows the change of the ruling government was claimed to be back door government. The new government is actually not new. They have been ruling for more than 60 years and lost the GE14 but some how, some what, manage to rule again.

In fact by the changes, they too release corrupted politicians from getting into steel bars.

Economically every country were affected by the slow growth. Specially the tourism industry was totally crippled and many tourism spots are closed and job retrenchment were getting higher. Many multi national hotels siege operation and some were totally shut down.

The initiative that was taken by the government some how manage to ease the burden of rakyat even though it not involve all. The withdrawal of own EPF or KWSP does made thing easier but still it does not take the problem away.

The vaccine for COVID 19 has been established but still the supply and the buying has been manipulated and some I believe made some cut out of it. I am not blindly blaming but when the country pay ten times more than what BELGIUM paid is something to be considered and questioned.

Overall we mange to end the year with out loosing out life is much more great enough. Some lost their love ones, some lost their JOB, some lost their soul mates, some lost their parent and kids and all this happened in a very tragic way.

And today we are at the end of the exit gate of 2020 and are we ready to welcome 2021??

Either you are ready or not, tomorrow is going to be 2021 and everyone is another year older.

Age is catching up is one matter and facing the uncertain life style is another matter.

" When the going gets though, the tough gets going... "
We have came a very long way, and we still have a long way to go. The journey must be continued. Life has to go own....

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2021....

Vernacular School

In a recent comment made by some Tamil / Indian so called idiot scholar, that Vernacular school in Malaysia (Chinese and Tamil Schools) are the main reason for nation's disunity. Meaning in another word that the Vernacular school is the main reason behind racial disunity in Malaysia.

What he was pointing out was, that learning your own mother tongue can create racial tension which jeopardize the harmony of the inter racial community in Malaysia.

I feel to take up the broom stick and give it to him to sweep clean his mind.

How could learning mother tongue for 6 years of your early age can jeopardize racial harmony??

Is this a joke or the guy who comment such a statement is a bastard born GOD??

Did anyone realize, many Tamils in Indonesia can't speak Tamil because no vernacular school provided. The Tamils schools were abolish to make way to create "One Indonesia" but nothing works on your way if your intention is not right.

The community can't speak their mother tongue at all. Is this what we are looking forward to happen in this country??

Besides, anyone from Tamil or Chinese decent who want to abolish Vernacular school should be charged in the house of law.

Najib Razak - 72 Years Jail 210 Mil Fine

Kuala Lumpur High Court Judge Mohd Nazlan Mohd Ghazali has sentenced Najib Abdul Razak to a total of 72 years in jail and fined RM210 million for the seven criminal charges related to SRC International Sdn Bhd.

The former 7th prime minister of Malaysia, Dato Sri Najib Razak (Pet Name : Bossku) has been sentence 72 years jail by the kuala Lumur High Court on the 28th July 2020 which make him he 1st Prime Minister to be charged for miss-use of power while in duty in the history of the country.
In the total count imprison would be 12 months as all the sentences shall be serve together.

I believe if he would have channeled 1MDB as a materialize development program for Malaysia, the country would have progress in a positive manner. Many economies has concerned if 1MDB was managed is a proper manner, Malaysia would have been one of the leading country in Asia and in the world.

But the selfishness and greed have made a person became devil in human mask.

I would say today, Malaysians are celebrating the verdict as so as they celebrated when Pakatan Harapan won the GE14. This would be a success story and history to be pen in Malaysian history book.

I too felt the same, and believe me many do.

And it is time to look into Zahid Hamidi and other UMNO politicians cases which is pending in the court.

Every one knew, Najid Razak would appeal his verdict and later would walk free but as long as the rakyat remember, any wrong move would cause the lost in power.

Golfer - P Gunasegaran@Ramu

A day to remember a local KKB boy who made it to the world stage.

He earned his fame and comfort by dedicating his whole life by hitting hard a golf ball since he started to be a caddy in the year 1972 for RM0.80.

20 years on the road he became PRO and made history to place himself as runners up in 1994 Malaysian open (8th play off hole)

He is non other than the great P.Gunasegaran@Ramu from Kuala Kubu Bharu.

I am from KKB too.

I have started my GOLF couple of years back in 2018 and still enjoy hitting the ball. I made it 16 handycap in 13 months of playing and keep improving.

Knowing a legend who was called Malaysian Jack Nicolas as my neighbor definitely is a honor.

I play my golf game in KKB golf course when ever I am back to KKB. And knowing the legend made his way to the top from this course given me a goose bum and I can feel how he would have exile himself to made it to the TOP.

His story still spoken by the senior KKB golf players and he left his memories in every hole in KKB golf course. Great man and great courage. His path is hard but his determination is harder than a rock.

His stubbornness is another reason to made him to the TOP.

Here I am, honoring HIM fro his passion and greatness in golfing who made Malaysia proud.
A 1989 SEA game gold medalist will be remembered forever.

Rest In Peace Champion !!

COVID-19

JAKARTA: The Malaysian embassy in Jakarta is trying to locate Malaysians believed to be among thousands of tabligh participants at the Ijtima of Asia 2020 event in Sulawesi, Indonesia.

A spokesman said the embassy had issued an order banning Malaysians from attending the programme, but scores had gone there.

“We do not have the exact figure of Malaysians attending the event, but we are trying to locate them,” he told Bernama.

He said based on a consular notice for Malaysians to register with the embassy, some were participants of the event.
According to a source, 83 Malaysians were already in Sulawesi for the event where the participants are from 48 other countries.

Indonesia media reported that authorities have not issued any permit for the event scheduled to take place from today to 22.

The authorities are also in the process of negotiating with the organizers to cancel the event.
On March 14, the Malaysian embassy through a consular notice warned Malaysians from attending any large-scale rally or event in Indonesia, following the Covid-19 pandemic, including attending the Sulawesi event.

More than 10,000 people were reported to have attended a tabligh rally at the Sri Petaling Mosque in Kuala Lumpur, which led to a spike in positive cases in Malaysia.

In a way I am quite happy that soon enough the numbers of the fanatic religious followers would decreased by the the favoritism of COVID19. Don't you think so?

The authorities around should just let these morons to do what so ever they want and as they wish cause this is what they wanted religiously. Please do not stop them. This will help to reduce the number of soon to produce terrorist on the list.

This will clean the terrorist in the world too.

PIG @ BABI

Babi.

Tapi tak bolehlah kamu berbuat pesta daging babi panggang pula.

Babi betul.

Does the mufti of Perlis have any non-Malay friends?

Does the mufti of Perlis, Asri Zainul Abidin (above), have any non-Malay friends? As a man of the cloth, his position holds power and responsibility, but he lacks the open-mindedness and tolerance of a man living in a multi-racial, multi-religious, secular country.

If his report card had been compared alongside the performance report of the Pakatan Harapan ministers, Asri would have scored a miserable "F".

Asri should be more competent and inclusive, but over the past fortnight, his divisive messages and racial rhetoric have portrayed him as a bitter person, seething with internal rage and jealousy. He is continuing the Umno-Baru policy of division and hate.

In 2020, wounds have to be healed and bridges among the various communities rebuilt. Those responsible for promoting Asri to his post should reconsider his appointment.

Asri appears to be anti-non-Malay/Muslim. Is his anger shaped by an unpleasant encounter with a non-Malay, during his childhood?

Christmas is the season of goodwill and most people wish to start the New Year on a positive, optimistic note. However, the Perlis mufti, thinks otherwise.

A few days before Christmas, Asri said that Muslims throughout the world had an obligation to buy Muslim-made products. He said that the duty of all Muslims was to buy Muslim products, patronise Muslim-owned shops and markets, and trade with Muslim nations.

Many of us would like to hear him tell that to the spouse of a former prime minister, who had a fondness for luxury handbags and watches.

Most members of the former Umno-Baru cabinet had a penchant for luxury watches, while their wives and children bedecked themselves in designer accessories, and drove around in imported luxury cars. These people would probably give Asri an earful for his "buy Muslim first" suggestion.

When people purchase goods, they don't look at the religion (or race) of the manufacturer or supplier. Cost, quality, availability and after-sales service are prime motivators for purchasing goods.

The birthplace of Islam, Saudi Arabia, is awash with American capitalist products which range from table sauces, to anti-tank missiles and assault rifles.

Another prime consideration when buying goods, is the morality and ethics of their production. Can many Muslim nations, with their innate prejudices and inequalities, measure up to this?

The allegation of using forced labour has already been a costly experience for the Malaysian glove maker, WRP Asia Pacific Sdn Bhd.

Asri's divisive trend continued after Christmas, when two days before the New Year, he claimed that vernacular schools, which he termed "insolent", were responsible for creating racial tension.

What are the roots of his irresponsible statement? Is he envious of the quality of education and standard of discipline which many vernacular schools deliver? Many parents claim that national-type schools have failed their children.

Does Asri have any children? For at least four decades, successive ministers of education have used race and religion to increase their power base. They failed to provide sound, quality education for our children.

Malaysian education was once well-renowned throughout Asia and the world. Today, half-baked education policies, coupled with half-hearted teachers and administrative staff, have succeeded in providing bog-standard education.

Asri accused vernacular schools of being racist. My nephew, who went to a Mara boarding school, was beaten up by his teacher and other pupils, for speaking English.

He was accused of being unpatriotic and of trying to be a "Mat Salleh". Sadly, his peers did not realise that practice makes perfect and he was merely trying to improve his English during term-time. The crab mentality persists in many Malays.

Some muftis, like politicians, are selfish and think of short-term goals, without considering the long-term implications on their flock.

If Asri had any non-Malay friends, he would realise that they value the importance of competition and meritocracy. The Ketuanan Melayu ideology has created many insecure Malays and Muslims, who are apt to blame the non-Malays for their own failures.

Muftis are human, and they also yearn to be popular with the masses. Politicians bribe with goods, cash and promises of position. A mufti promises the congregation paradise in the after-life, but only if they will listen to him. Desperate Muslims, and those who do not know their religion well, will grab the mufti's offer.

If Asri had any non-Malay friends, he would realise that many went to national-type schools at a time when we had dedicated and committed teachers.

Today, the non-Malays (and Malays) who send their children to national-type schools have found that, with the bar being lowered, their children are not progressing, while many non-Malays are denied a fair chance to higher education.

Not everyone can afford international schools, but will Asri dare to call these to be shut down, instead of just attacking vernacular schools?

During the 60s and 70s, parents took their children out of vernacular schools and enrolled them in mission and national-type schools, because of the quality of education provided. Today, the reverse is true.

Many older Malaysians have a different perspective of the other communities because they interact with them and have a better understanding of people of different faiths and culture.

Asri should widen his circle of friends to include some non-Malays and non-Muslims.
