The War Lords

I was waiting for the final result of who is going to be the next MCA’a top man. The three corner fight between DS CSL and the two DS Ongs was quite interesting. All three of them have their own strength and weakness too.

The first Ong was trying to make a come back, the second Ong is trying to hold his position and continue to be a minister. DS Chua was actually trying to climb a ladder up from being a Deputy (Comeback, Stay, Go up).

And the result was shocking as Chua hit the highest numbers of vote and made him the 9th president of MCA.

Following him in the Deputy top position was Liow Tiong Lai. Liow  fought hard to make a come back after fall victim to Ong Tee Keat and Chua’s smartness. He lost his deputy post when RO re-instead Chua as a deputy according to the regulation.

The strong come back by Liow Tiong Lai by defeating Kong Cho Har is a sign that he shall be the next leader in waiting. He has a clean record so far beside the Alfard gift (scandal) to his wife.

This result has made some shut down in MCA. A long waiting process finally ended. But the ministesr lost their ministerial post. The two ministers were Ong Tee Keat have to give away his Transport ministry and Kong Chor Ha needd to give away his Housing and Local Government.

Anyway, the ministrial post is still under the PM’s jurisdiction.

Now, the new issues have arisen. It was the old one actually but renewed and to be valued.

Geronimo: I am glad, so very glad that Chua Soi Lek won the presidency. So Umno, remember the saying 'Those who stay in glass houses should not throw stones'? How can you continuously accuse Anwar of having unnatural sex when the leader of your component party has done the same thing?

The comment above posted in Malaysiakini on 29th March, 2010.

DS CSL has proven he holds the bar when he made a come back in political arena. But he did in a gentleman way. He resign as gentleman when he was implicated with own made video and his move was what most of the leaders will take into consideration.

Later he came back and fought for his deputy post. He was later announced as the legal Deputy MCA and sparked fire with DS LTL. He settled down with most of the party works and answering rather than the president himself. He collected all the support and gain influence when he had the chance.

He denied the rumors and stands not to resign to pay way to MCA general election when DS LTL made his choice. Later, at the right time he made a decision to resign with his allies. This was a shocking decision for DR OTK. Unfortunately DS OTK never had the time to get ready as the time was very short for MCA GE.

DS OTK was facing rival from right corner and the left corner. At the end of the day DS CSL made his climb to the top with style.

Will this end here?

The attack is going to grow greater. Attacks are going to be from his fellow country man and as from the Pakatan as well.

The moral of man still count when comes to one on one stand. You know what I mean. How prepared he is to face his own wrong doing. He implicated unnatural sex with someone beside his wife. What do we call that?

Isn’t this is an illegal practice as far as law is concern? Why don’t the police look into this allegation? He admitted and what evidence else does the authorities need?

Many politicians in Malaysia went through the same allegations. As for MIC’s DP Vijenthiran, TS Tamby Chik and the well know Anwar Ibrahim. All of them are still suffering to make a political come back. As a public figure, moral is the key of success.

Hey, let me clear my self that I was not into MCA’s family problems. But as a citizen I wonder if one day DS CSL is going to be my minister. What morality does he have to be my minister?

What morality is BN going to have when they were presented by an immoral minister tainted with moral issues?

He is not even a parliament member. As the same goes to the President of the third largest BN component party representing the Indians ~ MIC. The President don’t hold any post in the government. How well these two leaders going to give their service? How these war lords going to war without the sword?

Well I don’t know, that is why I am asking?

Uthayakumar ~ Hulu Selangor

Uthayakumar shall be the best candidate to win the seat in Hulu Selangor. I am one the Hulu Selangorian too. Uthayakumar's pledged not only for Indian but he is a capable man to represent the other Malaysians too (Malays, Chinese and Orang Asli).

He stands for justice. He fight with no fury when comes to equality and fairness.

He is a hard core and went through hell to make his stand. He is known to Malaysians. He knows law. We need a man like him in Parliament to deliver his thoughts.

He changed many Malaysians thoughts specially the Indians community. I am one of them too. He changed the view of many others towards Indian minority in this country.

He freed the Indian community from their prison mind. He made the minorities to understand the people’s power. He changed the prescription about Malaysian Indians in the eye of others.

He made Malaysian Indian’s voice heard internationally. His brother is still in self exile simply because the brothers were fighting for one race which was almost disappearing in this land.

He made the Malaysian Indians to understand that they were marginalized by their own country man by the name of MIC. He made me understood about the unawareness of us being the son of this soil.

He made lot of us to aware that we are Malaysian first before being Indians. We are not Indians but Malaysian Indians.

"If I am given the leeway to bring about changes in regards to the critical Indian community problems, I will consider," he told Malaysiakini in the recent interview.

He sacrificed his two years in ISA detention for his pledge to the Queen of England about marginalizes Indians in this country.

All this should be considered as Uthyakumar shall prevail for other races too. He is a man of the people. He is a man of justice. I believe he will retain Hulu Selangor seat with big majority.

My blessing for you Uthayakumar.

By-Election ~ Hulu Selangor.

azlanHulu Selangor member of parliament Dr Zainal Abidin Ahmad, 71, passed away due to brain cancer at 9.30pm on 24th March.

His dead lead to another by election within 60days in the constitution

Hulu Selangor is a semi-urban mixed seat of 63,539 voters of whom 53.9 percent are Malay, Chinese (26.7 percent) and Indians (19 precent).

Dr. Zainal Abidin won the Hulu Selangor seat which was held by MIC candidate G.Palanivel with the majority vote of 193 in 2008 general election.

It will be another puzzle whether the Hulu Selangor seat will be given to MIC or shall be replace by UMNO or MCA candidates.

Hulu Selangor is my constitution and I knew and I am well verse of about the performance of the candidate.

The greatest puzzle will be, if G Palanivel win (If he contested) Dr S Subramaniam will loose his place in the cabinet. Looks like someone is going to pray hard not to loose his cabinet ministry post.

All England

Datuk Lee Chung Wei made us proud again when he bagged his first ever All England title on Sunday.

He beat Japan's Kenichi Tago to score the gold medal in a 21-19, 21-19 win.

Further more, Datuk Lee Chong Wei Malaysia won the 100th All-England badminton tournament after seven attempts.

Again it was proven we are able to conquer the world if we have the determination and positive thinking.

Being sincere on what we are into, never to hope anything in return but keep on trying for the best.

Congratulation Datuk Lee Chong Wei!! Bravo young man.

Human and Humanity

Out of many hot devastating news, I wonder how I can missed the miss-treatment news of Orang Asli Bumis  in Gombak hospital. Busy with daily task, I was stunned to hear the pledged from Dr. Selvaa regarding miss-management in Orang Asli hospital in Gombak.

At the same time, a comment from Ang Eng Sing in The Sun dated 09/03/10 ~ page 13, Praise for the great job done by Dr Shukri and his team in Sungai Buloh Hospital.

Those are different situation but from the same service agency. The first was the failure of the public service department to provide the needed service.

The second situation was about the prompt and great service given by the same oriented department in different location.

What does this mean? It is all about attitudes and responsibilities. Responsibility to one self and other which contribute to the nation built.

It may sound too patriotic but that was it. You can’t deny it. If you still didn’t get me, please than let me explain.

Have you ever heard any of your family members praise about the service given by  public service department? About the Post office or even about the postman?. About LLN (Lembaga Letrik Negara – Now called TNB) or maybe about Majlis Daerah s and so on?

If any help was given or ease the transaction, the rakyat will praise the country. Every one will feel Malaysia is great country and we are lucky. I used to hear good praise words from my father and mother about this ruling government BN.

They feel great when their children s were given Skim Pinjaman Buku Teks (SPBT) in schools. That was included me or course.

What does this means? In directly, this praise goes to the ruling government which was the ruling parties. So, they have been voting for BN for the last eleven (11) general election. But what happens in the GE12?  The rakyat sent a clear message that anyone who is not doing their job shall be sidelined.

Can we or the politician learn something from this? Do you or you shall be booted out.

Here is another situation for the thought,

The rakyat willing to pay double (They do now) for a proper organize public transport. The bus service are nasty and everyone aware about it. So, the rakyat choose the Commuters even the charges are double compare to bus service charges.

But what do we get? In this situation who takes the blame?

Where does this blame goes?  I have heard one said in a motion Commuter, “If they can't even run a train service as per expected in this 15 years  how in the hell they gonna run this country?”

Think about it and use the most well said word by lvbala (me), “You have the power of choice, so choose, choose wisely.” I mean cast your vote wisely in the next GE13.

On top of these two news, I was disappointed when Dr. Selvaa was transferred to Kedah for the need. There are many ways of looking at this issue.

Some may see as in justice and cruel.

Some may say, it was for her own good well. She made the right move to highlight the miss-management. She put them in the head line.

They must be some uneasy feelings will be around after math. So as a player, it is better to be in a new environment. May be it is time to find what is going wrong in Kedah. Her move was great and blessed by most Malaysians. She will be remembered. I will remember her. At least as long as I live.

Let us be more alert on what we are into daily. Let us be humble for a second in a day. Let us be helpful at least once in a day.

Let us be spiritual and be wise in determining who we going to serve and to be served.

Thought for the day

PR - Cleansing in Progress

Kulim-Bandar Bharu MP Zulkifli Noordin was booted out of the party. What is wrong with it? If someone or anyone who was found guilty by the party’s disciplinary board, he should be responsible for his action.

Now Penang PR’s state MP’s shall remain 28 which holds the majority from DAP. So, what? Which party hold the majority in Sabah? Which party hold the majority in Sarawak?

The state of Penang will still function as normal. Some rearrangement is needed but life has to go on.

Why does Umno youth questioning DSAI’s stand? Look who is talking. He who was clearly rejected from the cabinet never understood he was side lined by the standing cabinet.

KJ creates history by being the only youth who never given cabinet post. But he never understood. But he is clear with DSAI’s stand. Kuman diseberang jelas, tapi gajah di depan mata di buat tak nampak.

What more to say?

PR should stand firm on the discipline issues in the party. No one is above the party’s SOP. No one should be allowed to be a hero on his own and put the party against his own interest.

This issue in PR is no more worst than what is happening in the second biggest BN component party. But we are not going to talk about it. It is their family problem.

Let stay out and watch. We shall know the result pretty soon enough.

Let us talk about PR. It was a new born baby. Tomorrow 8th of March shall mark the second year for PR in. PR is just 24 months in full throttle. What to expect from 2 years old baby? Baru belajar berjalan lo….

Actually, PR is going through internal cleansing. Clean from the bugs.

Bugs which gives you iciness. We better get rid of this iciness by removing the bugs. Soon we shall have a clean, strong, team player and “satu hati Mp’s” to continue the tradition.

Malaysia failed to produce a good soccer team for decades. But we are still working on a perfect formula to have one. Is this mean Malaysia has failed?

Better late than never. We should look into the bigger picture. PR should look into long term process. The picture is about winning the war with good soldiers. The process is to get some term to avoid ill intention MPs.

So get some good soldiers and proceed with what they are elected for. We should get rid of the ill one. Just like YB Zulkifli.

Loosing small battle and losing some not talented Generals is normal in battle field. We can always replace them with a better one.

We will be hearing more news similar to this. So what? Changes are needed. Change we will be. Changes we will make for the better of this nation.

Now Everyone Can't Fly - JOE SAMAD

When I read this column, it does hit my head and the story can be related to my experience traveling to East Malaysia for work purpose back ...
