Taib ~ Sarawak

When people of Sarawak voice out their concern and worries about their chief minister Taib who been in the reign of power for more than 30 years, I remember an email I received month ago about the financial status of Taib’s family.

Of course everyone knows about the well known Taib’s financial status and his daughter who owns a second most luxurious house in Canada.

Besides his daughter, Taib manage to up bring and used his influence to place his son in the State cabinet.

Merely this is his plan to save guard the wealth and at the same time to venture new opportunity to make more money by keeping his influence in politics.

While many in Sarawak still living as a native and still naive, Mr Taib manage to wallowing in wealth with business that allow him to build an empire in Canada.

With about RM20,000 pay from his chief minister post, many question arisen how in the world he made so much and yet stay in power?

Does this not known by the federal ministers?

Or they were kept quite by RM notes.

According to one of the web sites, Taib and his family owns property valued up to C$100 million (RM320 millions) in Canada alone. What about the rest of the $$$?.

This includes the posh Preston Square with its prestigious twin glass office towers and a stylish shopping complex smack in the high-value commercial district of downtown Ottawa.

His daughter who married a Canadian who is her university sweetheart owns a mansion worth RM28 millions.

Taib's brother Onn, who is one of Sakto's directors, was the person behind Richfold Investment Limited and Regent Star Company Limited incorporated in Hong Kong, both sharing a mutual director, Kin Kwok Shea and the same office address.

It was the Regent Star Company that was identified by the Japanese tax authorities in 2007 as having received RM32 million in kickbacks from Japanese timber exporters over a seven year-period.

Till to date Taib family's massive business empire has long been the subject of criticism and speculation - from his family's involvement in numerous local Sarawakian companies to his far-flung overseas business interests.

Shall I say, Taib Sarawak is another Sultan of Brunei. He will if he was to be in power in coming years.

When the F5E engine gone missing....

What more we can say?

What more can be worse?

When we heard about million missing in MAS, Port Klang, Perwaja Steel, Proton, Project Bakun, Submarine deals, Sukhoi deals and many more, we were to understand the politicians are the one who made the money out of it.

It can be the politician or it can be someone who was align to the minister himself. I do have a friend who made his cut out of millions when he was close to certain ministers.

But unfortunately, after the minister fail to grab her position in the cabinet, my friend goes down with her and he is still struggling to get back to his feet.

It was all came up to, who do you know? If you are unknown to ministers, no way you can ever think about making big money.

Let me correct my words again, the point is, it is not you but how much the minister going to make. How much the minister getting his cut. How many holidays need to go? How many expensive gift need to be given?

I have heard enough. I have heard from the trusted source. I have the prove of all the holidays in overseas.

In the latest development, a low rank soldier who hold only sergeant rank was accused of  smuggling 2 F5E jet engine to Uruguay.... Wow !

This is really a wow factor. But the real problem is, those who came up with this story thought Malaysians are easy to be cheated. They can be simply told the "PAK PANDIR" story.

But in the latest development of missing engine, the told story and accusations merely can be trusted. Many gray areas need to be high lighten. So, lets go deeper into it....

Can a Sergeant alone with another friend ship out the engine by his own without involving others?

It can be the cronies or someone who the fact that these two could outwit the entire security apparatus of the Air Force, the Ministry of Defence, the Customs and Port Authorities as well as the shipping authorities speaks highly of their calibre for high office.

Further, that they could establish contacts with Uruguayan authorities speaks of capabilities which very few in Malaysians have. Even our ambassador in Uruguay could not have brought about the sale of used aircraft engines. Malaysia should be proud of them instead of feeding whitewashed stories to the rakyat.
This whole thing is smelling like a cover-up and the sacrificing of a scapegoat. If the sergeant is able to sell jet engines, what is the difficulty in selling a house? I am inclined to believe he cannot even sell a popsicle to a child.

The danger here now is that he will be accused of not being able to live with his guilt and suddenly will find some rope in his prison cell. Then the investigation will be over and there will be a suicide note.

We have seen C4 and Immigration records disappear and two lowly special forces unit personnel getting hanged while 'Mr RM500 million commission' Abdul Razak Baginda does not even get whipped for adultery and close proximity, but is now living in London, most likely in luxury.

This is really disgusting. Anybody can see that it is ridiculous to charge this low-ranking air force sergeant for stealing the two jet engines. Why torture him to confess if they have the proof?

Why set bail so high? If he has stolen the engines, don't you think bail would have been a sneeze for him? The justice system is cruel and perverted.

With the number of Indians dying or tortured in custody, the confession of N Tharmendran is highly suspect. Bail at RM150,000?

He has no previous convictions. Is that bail set because of prejudice against Indians?

11 Senators-Turned-Deputy Ministers

Four new senators - MIC deputy president G Palanivel, PPP senior vice-president Maglin D'Cruz, MCA vice-presidents Donald Lim and Gan Ping Shou - were appointed deputy ministers today.

Previously, Najib's cabinet consisted of five senators - Koh Tsu Koon (Prime Minister's Department), Jamil Khir Baharom (Prime Minister's Department), Idris Jala (Prime Minister's Department), Shahrizat Abdul Jalil (Women, Family and Community Development) and Raja Nong Chik Zainal Abidin (Federal Territories minister).

Senators-turned-deputy ministers includes - Mashitah Ibrahim (Prime Minister's Department), T Murugiah (Prime Minister's Department), Awang Adek Hussin (Finance), Abu Seman Yusop (Home), Heng Seai Kie (Women, Family and Community Development), Maznah Mazlan (Health), A Kohilan Pilay (Foreign Affairs).

With this, it is roughly a quarter of the deputy ministers posts are held by non-elected representatives.
In an immediate reaction, Rembau MP and Umno Youth chief Khairy Jamaluddin 'retweeted' a post by an unknown individual, describing the new cabinet line up as "solid".

It seems, our ruling party’s represent (MP) were mostly selected and not elected MPs. There were 11 senators in the ruling party. What I can remember most of them were the re-cycled Senators.

One of them was Senators G.Palanivel. He was done deal made after he gave away his Hulu Selangor seat to Kamalanathan.

If this is how the trend, than I don’t think the election does give any different?

No reformation and with the same dudes, what changes does the PM is going after?

Tun oh Tun

This time around I am not going to refer to any news cutting or any pre-writing. I am simply going to clear myself with some serious question.

This question aroused  in me after I heard the news of a great well known figure said a brutal lie direct in the eye of the people.

Well, how far he s gonna go? How far does this figure going to be the shadow? But he did raise question in me regard my love living of my birth land.

Serious question about the stand of a nation. All I have learned from my school days about a nation which holds the principal of adopting great movement, ISLAM.

With the principal of no Alcohol, no gambling, no immoral act and behavior and many more which brings the fronting line of peace and harmony, I rather disappointed which what the seniors stand.

He may have been the one and the only one who ever been the smarter s creature ever born in this soil. He might be the mightiest among the mighty.

By him ignoring the truth and said the lie is the way rather I felt ashamed. He who I admired with his natural talent from GOD have discarded the holy truth and admitting it is welcomed by others and figured "I don't care about others living sin".

May be I never understood no religion nor GOD's teaching ever fronted the illegal to be legal in the eyes of GOD.

Legalizing the illegal for own growth without concerning the HALAL and the HARAM. Never me ever understood.

To support his baseless claim thought to be taken without questions ask. Another Islamic law breaker supported and even encouraged about the income that shall be utilize for the growth of the nation? May be for the growth of the cronies I guest shall be the right word.

My favorite Brazil soccer team going to meet North Korea in 10 minutes time. I rather enjoy my day, sacrificing my sweet dreams for the glory of other nation than mine.

I do realize, this is how this land have lost the glory by having to many cook in the kitchen.

Arios amigos.

Katak oh Katak, Kenapa panggil hujan...

Latest breaking news from Silver state. Malim Nawar DAP assemblyman has quit his party (DAP) and  declared BN friendly independent.

On Feb 5 last year, five Pakatan Rakyat assemblymen, including Keshwinder, had claimed they had been approached by agents to cross over to Barisan Nasional.

Keshwinder had said then that he had been offered RM10mil plus the position of the Perak MIC chief and a place on the state executive council.

Another frog jumped over for luxury. Hell will be the place for betrayer who cheated the rakyat who trusted them. They voted you not for you but for the party you represented. See you next time with better luck or you shall retire with your hard earn money.

Ex-MIC Youth chief gets court leave to sue MIED trustees

The Star online on the 14th June, 2010, reported ex-mic youth chief is looking into possiblity to sue MIED for its mis-management which cost millions of "rakyat's" money.

Initially we knew millions were missing when MIC handle MAIKA holding. Now it seems MIED did lost millions because of mis-management too.

What more do we expect from MIC? MAIKA and MIED is a project for the INDIAN community. It was the only project which promises better benefit and return for Malaysia Indians, but was miss-used and was not managed properly which ended with million lost someone's pocket.
How do we expect the Malaysian Indian community to exile economically?

What more to expect and hope from MIC if they only care about their own rice bowl without concern about the majority Malaysian Tamils in this land.

As for me, there is only one way left. We need changes. I am going to say this mantra as long as I am still alive.

We need changes. Change is what we need to bring changes. If we gonna stay put and hopping for changes without making any changes, than the result is going to be the same.

Thought For The Day. Change and changes comes from within us.

Good luck,

Maika Shareholders ~ Unable to Find

Malaymail reported all the letters posted to call upon the Maika sharholders return to the headquarters. Those addresses were registered some 28 years ago.

What more to expect? Do we expect them to stay put in one place after 28 years?

Not only address were changed but do we expect those shareholders who bought the shares when their age were about 60 to 70 years to be alive till today after 28 year to claim the money?

And what next? Does this means, all those who can't be found was pro claim dead?

The below news was reported by Malaymail

KUALA LUMPUR: Sacks of offer letters sent out to more than 60,000 Maika Holdings Bhd shareholders have been returned to the Maika headquarters as Pos Malaysia was unable to trace the addresses given.

In a statement here Saturday, a G Team Resources & Holding Bhd spokesman said this could be due to the change of addresses or the shareholders having shifted elsewhere as the addresses were registered some 28 years ago when purchasing their shares.

The posting of the offer documents and acceptance forms to Maika shareholders started on June 1, 2010 while the closing date for the offer is June 22, 2010, unless extended by G Team Resources.

Shareholders who have lost their share certificates or were in possession of share certificates not registered in their name or who have difficulty receiving mails, may contact Tricor Investor Services Sdn Bhd at 03-22643883 or call 03-31694007 during office hours.

Those accepting the offer should complete and sign the acceptance form and submit it together with the relevant documents to Tricor.

The completed acceptance forms and relevant documents may also be deposited at selected CIMB Bank branches in Peninsular Malaysia.

CIMB Investment Bank is the adviser and financier to G Team Resources for this exercise.

The details of Tricor and the selected CIMB Bank branches are contained in the offer documents and acceptance forms.

On May 12, 2010, a notice of conditional takeover offer was served on the Maika board of directors to inform them of G Team Resources' intention to acquire all the Maika shares.

The rationale for the offer is to return to Maika shareholders their cost of investment in the company on the basis of a cash offer price of 80 sen for each Maika share held.

Cruel World ~ Talibans

Seven year old boy was executed by Talibans.

Kabul, Afghanistan (CNN) -- Suspected Taliban militants have executed a 7-year-old boy, accusing him of spying for the government, officials in southern Afghanistan said Thursday.

The execution took place Tuesday in the Sangin district of Helmand province, said Dawoud Ahmadi -- the provincial governor's spokesman.

In the past, militants have carried out similar killings of those accused of spying, Ahmadi said.
Three years ago, a 70-year-old woman and a child in the Musa Qala district of the province were executed following the same allegations, he said.

During a news conference Thursday, Afghan President Hamid Karzai said officials were looking into reports of the execution and said he condemned the act if it is confirmed to be true.

"I don't think there's a crime bigger than that that even the most inhuman forces on earth can commit," Karzai said. "A 7-year-old boy cannot be a spy. A 7-year-old boy cannot be anything but a 7-year-old boy, and therefore hanging or shooting to kill a 7-year-old boy ... is a crime against humanity."

"If this is true, it is an absolutely horrific crime," British Prime Minister David Cameron said during the news conference on an unannounced stop in Kabul. "If true, I think it says more about the Taliban than any book, than any article, than any speech could ever say."

Other world news….

16 years old girl missing in her solo sailing around the world.

Los Angeles, California (CNN) -- A 16-year-old California girl who is attempting to sail solo around the world triggered a distress signal during rough seas in the Indian Ocean on Thursday, her family said.

Abby Sunderland's family began scrambling to organize a search-and-rescue effort for her after they learned her emergency beacon was detected just an hour after they last spoke to her, according to Jeff Casher, an engineer on her support team.

Sunderland's small sailboat was adrift in the middle of the Indian Ocean about 2,000 miles east of Madagascar, 2,000 miles west of Australia and 500 miles north of the French Antarctic Islands, Casher said Thursday afternoon.

The government of Reunion -- a French island -- diverted a fishing boat toward her last known position, but it is not expected to reach the area until Saturday, Casher said. An Australian military ship, more than two days sail away, has also been dispatched, Casher said.

Friends in Australia have chartered an Airbus jet to fly over the area at sunrise Friday to see if Sunderland's vessel could be spotted from the air, he said.
Electronic signals from the boat indicate it is drifting at just a mile per hour, which means it is still afloat but not under sail, Casher said.

The mast might have fallen or Sunderland could have been injured, preventing her from sailing, he said.
Sunderland's father, who has been monitoring her journey from their Thousand Oaks, California, home, was emotional, but "he was trying to keep in positive spirits," according to Peter Thomas, a freelance journalist who spoke to Laurence Sunderland Thursday.

"Abby has all of the equipment on board to survive a crisis situation like this," her family said in a statement on their website. "She has a dry suit, survival suit, life raft, and ditch bag with emergency supplies. If she can keep warm and hang on, help will be there as soon as possible."

Sunderland began her journey from Marina del Rey, California, on January 23 with the goal of sailing her 40-foot boat around the world without stopping. Mechanical troubles forced her to make two stops for repairs, including at Cape Town, South Africa, in April.

She's kept in touch with family and followers through a satellite telephone. Her website has published frequent blog updates, including one posted Wednesday.

"The last few days have [been] pretty busy out here," Sunderland wrote in her last blog entry. "I've been in some rough weather for awhile with winds steady at 40-45 knots with higher gusts. With that front passing, the conditions were lighter today."

Sunderland
"She's pretty much unfazed by most everything, but she had been fatigued by this period of winds which she's been going through for several days now," he said.

When Abby's older brother Zac sailed around the world alone last year he became the youngest person to ever do so.
Australian Jessica Watson took over the distinction last month when she completed a non-stop solo circumnavigation just three days before her 17th birthday.

Abby has been on a schedule to complete her global journey about two months before her 17th birthday, which is on October

CNN

Two different stories reflected two different part of this world. In one incident a boy’s life was taken for spying and in another incident a girl might have lost her life in her solo sailing around the world.
The most irritating news was…

I guess the Talibans have nothing better to do and targeting small kids for brutalism. This incident is sure to light a fire among the people around the world. This brutalism by the Taliban has gone beyond imagination.

They were no different between humans than animals.

Talibans should put all their hard work in bringing up the individuals economy status. Create harmony with others and strike for better life for their family and for the country.

They should be looking and learning from others and learn to be innovative and progressive.
Proper education system should be implemented for their children for future.

Besides these they should be the next of kin in bringing up the country’s economy status so the country-mans can live their live in peace and harmony.

From my observation, these Talibans were always busy killing and against the Americans (Christians). They blame the Americans and at the same time seek help from them as well.

At the recent case US President Obama has approved USD100 million for the Palestinians welfare. Isn’t it enough?

They simply don’t know what to do and how to do. They were so naive until can’t understand the real motive and GOD’s saying. They were so orthodox and fanatic towards their religion. They have printed bad name for their religion. They have portrait their religion as brutal and violent.

Even I was stunned with their action in killing a 7 years old boy and accused him as a spy.

There were so brutal and have no sense of humanitarian. I have been born and living in this Islamic country and have many Muslim friends.

Never ever once I have ever come across such a brutal killing by the name of religion or heard about the need for killing.

These Talibans were crazy and my main question is,

What these guys were fighting for?

What they wanted to prove to this world?

What they going to gain by killing others who they considered traitors to their religion?

Is GOD instructed them to kill another human which bare the same RED blood and were born from the curse of GOD.

I may don’t understand their real motive, but I am mature enough to value another human’s life. I am grown to understand the humanity and GOD teaching.

The question is how long they going to kill?

How much blood of others they need to drink to satisfied their thirst?

How many innocent life need to kill to satisfy their lust? I believe they were the real traitors to their own religion and Muslims around the world.

Malaysia, Turkey and UAE (many more) have proven

This was an example thought by the prophets who treated the non Muslim in Medina equally and given freedom to them to praise the religion they wanted without fear.

What should I say more? These Talibans were not Muslims but they created and praising Taliban religion.

This Talibans were the nasty bastard who has no commonsense for promising 100 virgin waiting in heaven for those who go for “JIHAD”.

PAS ~ 20,000 Non Muslim Now PAS Full Time Members

20,000 non muslim now PAS full time members

Bravo, great move. The people are starting to believe in PAS' policies and pledges. The great Prophet has proven it with his rule of Muslims and non-Muslims in the early days. It can be done again if everyone understands the need of fairness and stability in economic matters.

MIC Need Changes ~ Samy

PETALING JAYA: Datuk Seri S. Samy Vellu said changes are expected to take place in the next six months, including changing the mindset and attitude of MIC members.

The party president said: “There must be a complete overhaul of our party machinery, right from the branch chairmen, division and state leadership in dealing with the problems of the Indian community.”

Speaking at Selangor MIC’s annual convention yesterday, Samy Vellu said branch leaders who were performing badly and not up to the expectations of the community would be replaced.

Samy Vellu said the country’s political landscape had changed after the 2008 general election.
“The people have become bold and will not accept anything but results.
“The days of trying to win the people’s hearts and minds through sweet-talk, promises and political slogans are over”. he said.

He said Indians who deserted Barisan Nasional were returning to the MIC, adding: “We should accommodate them as it will help us to reach out to the Indian community.”

The above news was a cut and paste from Malaysiakini. Can anyone tell me what changes does Samy needed when he him self needed to be change.

Again this iron headed leader is twisting the whole story by blaming others as well. He is still in blues on leaving MIC. Earlier he was indirectly noted he will step down if he is given a government important role.
Is he demanding? Is demanding is acceptable? Or does he threatening not to leave until his wish his granted?
GOD knows.

GAS ~ Granny Fart Story.

I use to be a granny boy. I realize I love my granny more than anyone in this world. I was grown by my granny even she is the one I asked to company me when I was admitted in hospital. She was my dearest nanny even once I called her “amma”.

I was the youngest in eight in my family. While everyone is busy working and schooling I was left with my granny. My mother was a working woman. She had to work to earn some extra to grow eight of us. She was a rubber taper who contributed for the growth of economy. I always had been proud of her.

I use to follow her to give her a hand in school holidays. Waking up in the wee hour and be ready to hike hills to get the rubber trees, oh man, it was a hard job dude. Never enjoyed it but for “a few dollars more” it was worth helping.

Most of the time after school I will be with my granny who earned some pension money from the government. That means I will be taken care with gift and extra cash too.

The reason why I am talking about my granny was because of a “GAS” story she used to tell me. We always had a good laugh out of this story.

It goes like this,

One day a man was anxiously waiting to record the sound of a male elephant Fart (GAS). He wondered it must be a laud one. After many days of waiting one day the elephant had one good release. After spending sleepless night with expensive audio recorders, the man was disappointed with the sound which was slower than a human GAS (fart) release. …… now you must be laughing. At least try my friend.

When Mugilan appealed for his come back and promised he will serve MIC with honor. I remembered my beloved granny’s elephant “GAS” released story. What a waste of time, what a waste of hope, what a waste of dignity.

Many wasted wastage. Within hardly four days, an about turn has let many down. He just sounded like a human gas release and not the big elephant size which was waited with anxious.

Oh man, this guy is just another joker. I am sure he is going say something tomorrow and a different thing in another tomorrow. He is just 35 and too young for Samy.

Samy is a great thick headed politician. Even Najib can’t move him an inch. He is great. He is breaking his own record every day by being the longest man to serve in Malaysian politic. That’s the hard prove. No one can deny it.

With all the wasted entertaining Tamil politic movie drama cast by Mugilan, at least I had my long good laugh with his new version of GAS story.

Now Everyone Can't Fly - JOE SAMAD

When I read this column, it does hit my head and the story can be related to my experience traveling to East Malaysia for work purpose back ...
