Gerakan Anti Samy Velu ~ 2.00pm / Seri Kembangan

Gerakan Anti Samy Vellu gathering will be held in the new selected venue in Seri Kembangan. Today will be the day for Malaysian Indians to send a strong message to MIC top leadership that Samy Vellu is no more needed to head MIC. 

Malaysian Indians (Tamils) has been in Samy's regime for the past 30 years and still in lime light about the faith. The community has been marginalize by Samy and the biggest issues which contribute to the slow down fall of Samy and MIC is the lost of Maika shares.

Besides the Hulu Selangor issues, which rejected Palanival and sideline Mugilan has left sparking fire to start the whole explosion in MIC.

Mugilan has hinted earlier, if this gathering failed, Samy will be the life President of MIC and the index support from Malaysian Indian for BN surely will go down in the next GE. 

Many have failed, many have left MIC and many are still living without MIC. It was to believe more than 100,000 Malaysian Indians are not MIC member include me as well.

The question is how many Indians still have the balls to fight for their rights. If they fail to change the leader, they are incapable of deciding their own communities faith. Do I say it right?

Do we Malaysian Indians need MIC? Does this party still relevant to M.Indians? What does this party going to for M.Indians in future?

A call to resign ~ Pandithan / Mugilan

When Mugilan formed Gerakan Anti Samy Vellu (GAS) which will be conducting its first meeting this coming May 30th, I was called to my memory flash back on how the talented MG Pandithan was sacked and carried a coffin  protest back in 1988 and the later formed Indian Progressive Front (IPF).

It was back in my school days when I attended my first free stage show organized by MG Pandithan to celebrate Samy's 50th birthday a year earlier in 1986. This grant function was held in PWTC. I still remember how the both were hugging and calling each other brothers and prayed to be born biological brothers in their next life.

I saw a tear dropping theater drama with a question, actually who is the black sheep? Years fly by and MG Pandithan past away with a senatorial and a Tan Sri. Nothing he was able to do for his more than 300,000 members who die hard for him to fight against Samy Vellu. 

I had few friends back than and one of them was a elder brother to current  Deputy Minister Of Federal Territory. We were quite active in getting the back ground work in moving Hulu Selangor forward to be a strong constitution to oppose Samy Vellu. 

Back than , when Semangat 46 was formed by Ku Li, immediately IPF announce their support to Ku Li and variant function and programs was conducted to recruit new members. I guess it was a big success to us to see so many individuals was opposing Samy Vellu and MIC.

Our only motive was to save those people who left MIC for a new hope. We were fighting for a new light of hope and a platform of stage to hear our pledge. Many followed and many turn their back on us.

So much money was donated from our own pocket in order to shed a new organization and a leader who will bring our voice of pledge and hope. Every positive action of ours were denied entry. IPF were denied to be a BN component. The submission was rejected each and every time. The only reason is because MIC doesn't approved. Not MIC but Samy Vellu in person and he was so bold as he had Mr.M by his side. It took many years of failure till today.  

Than came another force full of energetic HINDRAF organization. I am pretty sure those who supported this movement were those from IPF too. Only those in IPF were those hard cores who fought still they got the taste of FRU's baton and tear gas.

Every one knows what happens to Hindraf to date. The tough guys were busted in ISA and this incident does effected the 2008 GE result. 

It reminds me again, after the latest ex MIC youth champion Yogeswaran's sacked, Mugilan's voice sounds roaring to his own master. I wonder where is Yogeswaran? Will he voice out support for his team member use to be?

Will Mugilan tough enough to face the thunders? We will wait and see.

Let me tell ya, Hulu Selangor hold a big numbers of Tamil Indians. They were not taken care by MIC Mr. G for the past 4 terms. They have shown their voice in the last by Hulu Selangor by-election with the grant of promises. They will turn around if they were denied.

In the current Mugilan's issue, Samy's action has created a turn back in Hulu Selangor and the effect will be tremendous in the next GE.

A week left for the first meeting of the GAS movement. I don't know the venue but i guess soon it will be announce. Be in touch.

Malaysian Malaysia ~ 1 Malaysia

1. “The Malays and Umno members will have to understand the fight and struggle of the Chinese and Indians, and in turn, they will also have to understand our struggle. Well said by Mohd Zin in the BN Selangor State Convention. 

  

He added, “The Malay problem is also a problem to the Chinese and the Indians. If this was our understanding in the formation of Barisan Nasional, why can't we make that compromise now,” said Mohd Zin.

2. Later in the evening the PM said “I don't want opposition from any component party. I want us to win as BN. If we lose, not only MIC will lose, BN too,” he said to a roar of applause among the 1,500 state grassroots leaders who turned up for the meeting.

3. The Selangor BN convention was marked with controversy after 15 representatives from the Kapar MCA division walked out of the event shortly after the opening ceremony.

Kapar MCA division chief Song Kee Chai told Malaysiakini that division representatives were outraged that the coalition's maiden state convention was preceded by the singing of the Umno anthem, soon after the BN anthem.

“This convention is organised in the name of BN, not Umno. So singing the Umno song does not reflect BN and the 1Malaysia spirit,” he said when contacted this afternoon. (No.3 Reported in Malaysiakini)

Three and very convincing, something is very wrong somewhere. Can anyone smell it? 

Initially, as a Malaysian, I totally agree with PM's words which sounds truly Malaysian. His idea was understood by Mohd Zin as well. Amazingly, someone is repeating PM's word and idea which was truly what the rakyat wants.

The whole system was raped. Than someone from BN was blaming Malaysiakini for the hoo and ha ha. It doesn't make sense at all.

As I look at the whole situation, the whole transformation which was initiated by PM will go into vain. If changes doesn't come from inside (BN) than the whole idea need to be scraped. 

PM need to keep chanting his mantra repeatedly for those to listen. Consistency and time may be the alternative way for PM from now till the next GE13. 

Either they change or they will be changed.

BN should not win the Hulu Selangor by-election ~ lvbala

1. Kugan will not be the last to die in custody but he is the most widely publicized and has become the poster boy of the numerous helpless victims who die with shocking regularity in the hands of our law enforcement agencies.
2. This wasn’t the most damaging act. What really disappointed the people was the police inaction during the protest although they have been known to be brutally effective in dealing with any anti-BN protests. To compound the damage to BN, Home Minister Hisahmuddin granted a meeting with the protesters and even defended their action. Although some of the protesters were charged for sedition the delay has earned the public’s ire and gave the impression that the religious sensitivities of minorities are secondary under the BN regime.
3. The Star was slapped a show cause letter for a reasonable, rational and cautious article questioning the caning of three Muslim women on the basis that it had insulted Islam. The BN government’s double standard is clear. Minorities can expect little or no protection for any attacks and insults on their race and religion while it goes overboard to protect the dominant race and religion.
4. The judiciary is the pillar of a modern democracy and to restore its reputation is of paramount importance. Does the refusal to charge VK Lingam indicate the lack of political will to correct the rot in our democratic institutions? Correct! Correct! Correct!
5. P.I. Bala made a damning statutory declaration but in an amazing turn-around, he retracted it the next day and disappeared. He resurfaced more than a year later with more riveting tales of how he had been offered RM5 million and forced to flee to India via Singapore and Bangkok. A long-winded trial ended in the conviction of two police commandos for her death and the acquittal of Najib’s associate, Razak Baginda but left many questions unanswered such as the obvious lack of motivation of the two killers. The Altantuya affair will leave a long lasting impact in the minds of voters who are not convinced that all has been revealed or that justice has been done. It leaves a bad taste in the mouth that anything can be covered up in Malaysia, even murders.
6. Biro Tatanegara has been conducting courses for civil servants, government scholarship recipients and others for umpteen years but it was only in Nov 2009 that controversy exploded over the racist content of the course when the Pakatan controlled Selangor government refused to send any more participants. Denials that the BTN course was racist were dashed by testimonies by ex-participants that the course fanned racial sentiments and sought to teach its own version of history of the country’s early years.
7. Financial scandals are nothing new to BN. The Auditor-General’s report of profligate bleeding of the public purse and common items purchased at breathtaking prices makes its round with monotonous regularity every year. We hear of Khir Toyo’s fabulous mansion which must be beyond the means of a mere ex-Mentri Besar and the RM10 million transfer to London by another Mentri Besar with a shrug and a sigh. Will things ever change?
8. A DAP political aide went voluntarily to MACC’s office in Shah Alam to be questioned as a witness over a RM2400 allegation involving his boss and left through the window of the 14^th floor in the early hours of the morning, his bruised body cold and lifeless. The senseless death of a young man who was only days away from getting married and had an unborn child shocked and outraged Malaysians who demanded that the culprits be brought to justice.
9. The Perak power grab will forever be remembered as an immoral and reprehensible act by Umno to whom democracy is just lip service and power is all that matters irrespective of how it is obtained and kept. In a nutshell this describes Umno perfectly.
10. Instead of respecting the choice of the people Umno has never stopped attacking and trying to de-stabilize PR in any way possible including luring elected representatives to defect using the carrot ($$$) and the stick (MACC trumped up charges).  In a vile attempt to regain its 2/3 majority in parliament to gerrymander constituencies a war chest of RM50 million of corruption money was set aside to buy opposition members of parliament.
11. If ever there is a self-inflicted political disaster, this is it. For decades and even before the formation of Malaysia the Christians in East Malaysia had been using Allah for the name of God. No Muslim has objected or become confused; indeed there is a historical basis that Allah is not exclusive to Islam and is also used by many other faiths around the world.
12. Make no mistake; this is the numero uno, the number one in BN’s self-inflicted political disasters. In this day and age, an educated and literate population will witness an opposition leader dragged to court on transparently trumped-up charges and in all probability convicted. If you think sham trials were over with Stalin and Hitler or are the domain of brutal military regimes like Burma and North Korea, welcome to Malaysia. Even before the inevitable conclusion of Anwar’s trial, Malaysia has become the whipping boy and the butt of ridicule in the international press. When it is over our judiciary will become an international laughing stock. To proceed with this ludicrous case shows BN’s incredible arrogance and lack of political sense. Not only did they dig their own graves, they brought their own shovels, not only did they hang themselves, they supplied their own rop.
13. 54 JKKKP chairpersons have signed the memorandum to PM to request for Malay Member of Parliament in Hulu Selangor. Why can’t they except a non Malay MP when they talk about 1Malaysia. This is the gimmicks from UMNO BN to manipulate the non Malays to believe in them.

Will BN survive in the next GE? 

Hulu Selangor shall give us the result of the progress of Malaysians thinking. We shall measure the differences in vote counting compare to the previous result which was 194 vote majoritires won by PAS.

Hulu Selangor shall be another neck to neck corner fight and will determine the new benchmark from both the collition.

With more temptation to stay in power, BN increasing their sin and Pakatan is raising in support.

As a voter we shall decide who to choose as they have the power of choice.

2. What changes were we have been through for 2009 and what are the hopes for 2010?

5. When Kelantan’s oil royalty will be paid to the state government? This is no joke claim. The agreement was done back in 1975 between Petronas and Kelantan state.

6. 39,589 Malaysian citizen application are pending for approval. They will decide soon but I am not sure based on religion or race.

11. I am using KTM service everyday for the past 12 month and it was so practical but the service sucks. The charges are double compare to bus services. KTM even charge for the car you parked in their premises so I use motorbike to go to KTM station. Can you imagine every one have to evacuate in PUTRA station on 26/10/09 8.10am because the commuter was having hydraulic error and created heavy smoke like burning?

12. It sucks they have started to charge RM1.00 for each bike. I still insist on using KTM Commuter service because it is still cheaper than driving everyday to KL.

13. Most of them who use KTM commuter service are those with low income and middle income group. It does give me ideas and life experience by being with the rakyat.

14. The public don't mind paying but the services sucks day by day. They don’t show any improvement but even getting worse. The government should seriously look into this and spent the money wisely in this service rather than spending for F1.

15. I love FI and having F1 in Malaysian is good enough to promote Malaysia. Petronas should be wiser by sponsoring and giving opportunity to the poor and mostly non Muslims as we are all Malaysians.

16. LRT should be given credit for the excellent service. Bravo.

17. Another by-election is on the way. But it shall depend on court’s decision.

18. The 2008 Auditor-General's Report revealed that Pembangunan Pelancongan Nasional Sdn Bhd (Pempena) invested up to RM41.90 million on subsidiary companies since 1976 but has yet to reap profit from any of its ventures. Siapa nak bertanggungjawab?

One Can Make a Different

When I write about the abuses of UMNO against the Malays, against the Country - I know that there are interesting stories that I tell.

Some you might have heard them before, some you will not have known of the details as I tell them and some you might have not known of if I had not highlighted them in my postings.

Some of you have made the effort to comment and discuss what has been said - but a disturbing number of comments seem to indicate a feeling of hopelessness – that there is nothing we can do to stop the rot!

You ask me what do I expect to achieve by what I write? The might of Barisan will not be disturbed by what we do.

Let me tell you that you are wrong. Who would have thought that Samy Velu would lose in Sugai Siput? That Sharizat will lose to a greenhorn in Bangsar? That Barisan will lose Kedah, Perak, Penang and SELANGOR! If you have told me that before the General elections I would have looked at you with undisguised contempt and hilarity.

Barisan had everything going for them. Money, the EC, all the Government machineries at their disposal – everything stacked in their favour.

What made the difference? The people’s vote. One by one your votes slowly but surely kicked Samy Velu out. Even Sharizat – a hard working MP for Bangsar was blind-sided by Nurul. Can you remember what Sharizat organized in Bagsar?

Her election machinery was so slick – had so much money – that it was like Christmas, Chinese New Year, Deepavali and Hari Raya all rolled up into one. And she lost!

Think my friends. We can make the difference! One by one as you vote you will slowly but surely put Barisan Nasional out. But it will not happen by itself. We must work towards it day by day. One by one. Build up our strength and our numbers until we achieve the critical mass for success.

UMNO does not think that we have achieved this. Nor do they think we can achieve it. That is why they chose a disbar lawyer to represent them in the last by-election. Now they have decided on Isa. You and I know who Isa is.

A convicted practitioner of money politics. Yet UMNO will have him represent them. The arrogance of UMNO in doing so is because we are not able to shoe them our dislike, our disgust and our contempt to them for choosing a convicted practitioner of money politics.

They say Isa have served his time and KJ is so bold as to say that Pakatan Rakyat too have tainted leaders. Yes we do – they are ALL tainted in your estimation because they have all, without exception, done time under ISA.

To us spending time under ISA is a badge of courage and commitment to our cause – one of justice and decency. So do not say that again. Do not mistake the sordid act of using money for all things as UMNO does to that of being incarcerated for your beliefs.

Any right-minded individual can see the flaw in that argument.
UMNO still does not doubt its ability to cling to power – and the operative word here is ‘cling’. To UMNO the ends justify the means. If not the election processes what else will they conjure to cling to power?

There is no one within UMNO now of the calibre of Tun Razak or Tun Ismail – these two were aware of the power they hold in their hands at one time in our history – and yet they are more aware of the need to put country before self.

They never took advantage of their position to enrich themselves or their families and I am sure there was no thought in any of their mind that their being in power would give their children the “right” to hold power themselves.

But all this escapes Najib. Escapes Hishamuddin and they do a disservice to their Father’s legacies.

But we together can make a difference. So please those amongst us that doubt the power of one – themself – think again.

So you are one but you and me – we make two.

p/s: Hope readers can understand the voice of one can make the changes. The one that we are talking about is you and me. This article came from one of my close friend who I met in KTM station some time ago and his voice and his vibration is similiar to many Malaysian.

It was the prove to show Malaysians from all angle felt the same. Don't matter he is a Malays, Chinese nor Tamil. We do felt the same as one. We do care for the country. We do wish Malaysia can be one again.

Lets not only hope but lets make changes. Now or never.

Protest ~ Cow's head a mystery

"From the onset, I gave importance to religious sensitivities. I want unity. We are not against the temple, we just do not want it to be built in a Muslim majority area," committee chairperson Mahyuddin Manaf said.

Done is done, are we going to talk about it and make the matter worst? As a Malaysian, a Truly Malaysian, this is the time for the Hindus to show to our Muslim friends that we "forgive and we shall forget".

I will totally against those Hindu brothers who try to uproar the issue. It should not be the way of Hindus. The Hindus should take this opportunity to show that Hindus are willing to forgive and forget.

We Hindus are against violent. The Hindus love peace and the Hindus shall leave to the GOD to decide the best for the life of the cow and the sin for kicking and spitting. This is a sin they should answer to GOD for the animal they brutally killed.

Those who involve in this "cow head" demonstration must be used by some political motives politician. Yes it was clearly mention 5 UMNO members were involved.

Immature and dirty political move by some dirty corrupted bastard who trying to ruin the Malaysian harmony should be forgiven and let him be alone in his world of fanatism.

Najib orders action against cow-head protest

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 28 — Datuk Seri Najib Razak has ordered the police to take swift action against a group that brought a cow's head to Shah Alam to protest a Hindu temple relocation in a bid to calm swirling racial tensions.

The outraged prime minister gave instructions to Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Musa Hassan after Selangor police stood by in the after Friday prayers protest.

Indian leaders from both sides of the political divide condemned the protest, saying it will incite racial tensions in the country's most developed state.

MIC president Datuk Seri S. Samy Vellu called the group extremist but asked Indians in the state to be calm. "It is the right of Malaysians of any faith, including Hindus to build temples and other places of worships.

I am very sad that this group had paraded the cow's head on their way to the state secretariat building," he said in a statement.

"I am worried that this action may lead to retaliation from the Hindu community. However, I wish to urge the Hindus especially to be calm and let the authorities deal with it," he added, saying the protesters must be punished for endangering racial harmony.

The action drew the ire of other Indian leaders including Penang Deputy Chief Minister II P. Ramasamy who called the protest a "disgraceful" act" while Human Rights Party leader P Uthayakumar was disappointed that the police did not arrest those involved in the protest.
The Pakatan Rakyat government said it will lodge a police report, regretting the inaction by the police.

The group of Malay-Muslim protesters claiming to be residents of Section 23 had dumped the severed cow's head outside the Selangor state secretariat.

The "residents" said that the construction of a Hindu temple in a 90 per cent Malay- Muslim neighbourhood was insensitive because activities there would disrupt their lives.

“I challenge YB Khalid, YB Rodziah and Xavier Jeyakumar to go on with the temple construction,” shouted Ibrahim Haji Sabri amid strong chants of “Allahu Akbar!” as he referred to Mentri Besar Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim and his state administration.

Ibrahim identified himself as the deputy chairman of the Resident’s Committee against the building of the temple in S23 here, which is perceived by some as being a Muslim majority area.

He told the press that the state should move the temple to Section 22 as ‘originally planned’, and also labelled Khalid a “traitor to the Malay race and Islam”.

It is understood that the protest is an immediate reaction towards the Selangor MB’s visit to the Hindu temple site yesterday, an act seen by the "residents" as disrespectful to the Muslims of the community.

When asked whether members of the protest were affiliated with any organisations or movements, Ibrahim claimed that the people present today were members of PAS, PKR as well as Umno who are “united in the name of Islam and the Malay spirit.”

The issue first cropped up when the Selangor government proposed that the Sri Mariamman temple be relocated from Section 19 to Section 23.

In a statement, the Malaysian Consultative Council of Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism, Sikhism & Taoism (MCCBCHST) called for calm to enable the authorities find a “peaceable agreement and understanding”.

“Nothing can be gained by provocative action on the part of any side. MCCBCHST regrets that a severed cow’s head was brought along in the demonstration,” said president Reverend Dr Thomas Philips, noting the cow is sacred to the Hindu religion.

He said religious issues were best resolved around the negotiation table where mutual respect can be shown to all. “No further demonstration by any side should be contemplated or allowed. Peace and order should be maintained for the sake of all residents,” Philips added. (The Malaysian Insider)

Too Long On the Stand ~ Stink (MCA / MIC)

I have never known any leader for the Tamils since I was born and he is the one and the only SAMY. So I think the Tamils know him better than anyone in Malaysian politic. No denial that Samy has done for the Tamils. He indeed contribute and no doubt about it. At the same time he have fatality to Tamils ander the name of MIC.

Swallowed the Maika fund, named the school land under him, swallowed the Tsunami fund over 2 million, created gangstersm and split Tamils in Malaysia into two groups and many more includes AIMST missing fund.

He lost the support and lost his parliamentary seat which proved the Malaysian regardless race have rejected him. From Tun Hussein Onn, Tun Mahathir, Tun Abdullah and now DS Najib, Malaysia have seen number of PM in a row. But for Samy, still stand as a king for the Tamils.

And for sure leaving the presidency in 2015 is bullshit from him. Why the Tamils still believe he will leave MIC by 2015? All this was another peacock story from him. He can’t live as a normal man. He will be sued and humiliated and shall end his life by walking up and down to the court.

So, he will never quit. Hang on in MIC is like hanging the Tamils balls on the fence. The UMNO BN ruling party is actually enjoying watching MIC and the Tamils ship sinking to the bottom.

No one dare to challenge him in MIC either because the president's power to revoke the MIC membership is a threaten to those who trying to be hero. Even a minister will fall to lick the ground when his membership in MIC was reworked.

This is what happened to DS Anwar Ibrahim in UMNO.

At the end of the day, MIC sucks. This somehow will benefits BN in losing the support from the Tamils. UMNO and MCA will be laughing at Tamils community for not having ground to stand with unwanted leader.

Another hot issue from BN comes from MCA, the three corner fight between Tiong, Ong and Chua reflect the efficiency in BN.

The smell of troubles in stings, the Chinese friends need to look into this matter seriously. But frankly speaking, they still have guts compare to MIC. MCA members dare to voice out the concern and dissatisfaction over the leaders.

This is how the system should work. This is the way it should be. The leaders should not be given autonomy power to decide. He should be under control. Control by the voice of the members.

If not, similarity in MIC will be repeated. The boss will shake his balls hanging for the rest of his life.

My opinion, Ong Tee Kiat should resign or he should go for leave until the rumors on his allegation cleared. He has cause MCA a huge humiliation over his allegation and rumors. If he don’t, than Chua Soh Lek should join Pakatan Rakyat and bring all his supporters in his ship.

Lets see if BN can still hold on and lets see if DS Najib will still say, “I won’t interfere until I am invited…..”

Take it or leave it. Don’t hang on it until your balls got rotten.
