Does Malaysia Safe To Live? - Mohamad Tajuddin

The latest incident about a BFM newsreader being threatened with death, rape and being burnt alive by those whom  I assume to be Malay-Muslim netizens brings forth serious questions for this country.
Is this country safe for our children to live in? If a simple point of view is raised against such issue as hudud or even such issue as democracy and clean elections can produce outburst of murder, rape and burning people alive, what does it say about our country, its citizens and our leadership? Where did this culture come from?
I have noticed that the ones making threats of this nature come from mostly Malays who I assume are Muslim. Where did we, as a nation go wrong in educating these Malays? What are we teaching in our secondary schools? More importantly are our public universities producing people of such culture?
I sincerely hope that those who made the threats have never stepped foot in our public universities because if not I would like to ask these Vice Chancellors, what kind of Malay Malaysians are you producing? Yes, they are passable engineers and architects but are they barely passable Malaysian citizens, or passable Muslims or worse are they even passable human beings with a humane conscience? "Apa sudah jadi?" I have been to mosques and I have listened to thousands of youtube ceramah by our so called eminent ustazs and I know that their understanding of Islam is a strong contributor to the kinds of comments made by these young social media users.
Although I feel anger towards these netizens that have made the threats like it was just a “terminator” movie of mowing people down with a big machine guns, but I am ready to forgive them because I know it was our society that have created such a culture.
When the Prophet Muhammad was faced with the persecution of the young people of Taif till his body was bloodied, he stood in front of the angel Gabriel at the command of a host of a heavenly army ready to eliminate the people of Taif, he said,”No, do not do anthing against these people because they knew not what there are doing. Perhaps future generations may accept my message if these people do not at the present time.”
The Prophet had the magnanimity to forgive these people because he knew those that threw the stones and rocks are teenagers and young adults being influenced by their elders.  I am afraid, our religious scholars may be teaching a brand of Islam that is very much distant from the examples of the holy Prophet himself.
With this incident I ask Malaysians again… are we safe to raise our children in this country? If not, should we start looking elsewhere and create a much safer place for our children to have a future? I write these words with a heavy heart. I write these words as a concerned Malaysian citizen and as a simple Muslim for the sake of all our children.
And finally, I write these words as the father of Aisyah Mohd Tajuddin, the BFM girl. – March 20, 2015.

lvbala,

When someone question how safe you are to live in your own country, matter of fact, this is something serious to be looked into.

In fact, situation will be worse when you don't feel safe in your own house and when you have no where to go, and where and which direction you shall turn too?

Mostly, in worst case scenario, If anyone, who face this situation in their own place, the first thing they do is to run away because of their family safely.

But, but in fact...... if they were cornered, they will fight back. Their fight back shall be deadly and dangerous. It will be mortal, and shall continue to spread and the fight back shall prolong to next generation.

This is what we have witnessed in many country around the world. Sri Langkan Tamils is one of many ethnic that fought back. Deadly fight back and hatred can last for generations.

Revenge and mentally attached hatred shall move on till dead shall do apart.

Mostly, people who are affected by RELIGIOUS and race base hatred, shall take this hatred till the end of their life.

And so, if we are living in a country with many ethnics and believe, we should be sensitive and practice sensitivity.

But mainly, those who are living in Islamic country or living in a country which Islam is the official religion, we shall be facing this issues. If you don't agree with me, than look into the historical evidence surround you.

Ask this question and find out yourself..

1. Who are those believers is fighting through out this world, by the name of GOD or by the name of religion?.
2. Even in the country with minorities, they still do face the same issue and it comes from the them.
3. Even in the country which face worst economic issues to the extend of no meal on the plate, they still fight for their religious right.
4. And now, Malaysia is challenged by those still in lime of religious matters. They are trying to be religious and stay united by the name of religion but they are intend to make the same mistake which I am looking to be serious problem in future.

I would never understand the stand but I am clearly understand that mankind s are no more can be tolerant when comes to Religion and GOD mission.

Foreign Workers - Economic Boost

SINGAPORE, March 20 — Foul-smelling curry, rock-solid fish with scales still intact, and roti prata so hard that it feels like one is “chewing on plastic” — these are how some foreign workers describe the food catered for them at work sites.
The situation is made worse by the fact that the meals are often delivered several hours before meal times.
Construction supervisor Zakir Hossain Khokan told TODAY: “If you come by construction sites or shipyards early in the morning, you will see how packs of food are left along the roadside.
“By the time workers have their meals, often the plastic bags would have been broken (by cockroaches or rats).
“The food is so smelly it has obviously gone bad.”
The poor nutrition of meals catered for foreign workers, which can cost as much as a quarter of a worker’s monthly salary, is the subject of an ongoing study by researchers from the National University of Singapore (NUS) and HealthServe, a non-governmental organisation (NGO).
Based on interviews and focus groups with some 60 Bangladeshi workers living in the Tai Seng area, the researchers found that the meals — usually a pile of rice and some tinned meat or curry — are often delivered hours in advance.
“Breakfasts and lunches are delivered to workers’ dormitories as early as 6am. By lunch time, the food smells rancid,” said Manishankar Prasad, a researcher from NUS’s Center for Culture-Centered Approach to Research and Evaluation.
The meals are also sorely lacking in nutrition value, and some workers often complain of stomach problems, he added.
According to some foreign workers interviewed by TODAY, their packed meals do not come with time stamps.
The National Environment Agency (NEA) requires caterers to provide time stamps with their packed food, indicating when the food was cooked and when to consume it by.
The NEA recommends that cooked food kept under temperatures of between 5º and 60 º Celsius be consumed within four hours of preparation.
Caterers said that breakfasts and lunches are delivered to construction work sites as early as 5am, and dinner at 5pm.
A spokesman for Aysha Catering said the caterer provides time stamps but he noted that once the food is delivered, it is up to the employers when they want their workers to consume it.
He added that the meals are cooked by 3am.
While it provides employers the option of separate deliveries for breakfast, lunch and dinner, they usually do not take up the option as it would cost S$50 (RM134) more per person, the spokesman said.
NGOs working with foreign workers said catered food is a perennial complaint.
Debbie Fordyce, an executive member at Transient Workers Count Too, said: “The men complain about lack of protein, expired ingredients, and spoiled food. Men arrive in fairly good health, lose weight when they start working — a result of the hard work and long days as much as the food.”
AKM Moshin, editor-in-chief of local Bengali newspaper Banglar Kantha which champions the rights of Bangladeshi workers here, said that there are no cooking facilities in many dormitories.
“Employers and dormitory management urge the workers to eat the catered food,” he said.
Akhlas Sakar said that it would be too expensive for him and his fellow construction workers to buy their own meals.
“Eating outside costs S$5 to S$6 a meal. Where I can get so much money? If I spend all my wages to eat good food then my family back at home will go without food,” he said.
Nevertheless, a foreign construction worker who declined to be named said he would buy food on his own on most of the days as he ends up throwing away the catered meals. Foreign construction workers whom TODAY spoke to said they pay more than S$100 a month to have catered meals three times a day.
Construction worker Mohd Zahirul Islam said his weight dropped from 70kg to 55kg after living on catered food for three years. In 2011, he switched employers so that he could stay at a dormitory where he could cook his own meals. He has since put on about 10 kg, he said.
Nevertheless, some workers noted that the cooking facilities at the dormitories are insufficient.
Sromik Monir said he has to wait in line for as long as 1.5 hours to use the cooking equipment. “Sometimes we finish work at 9pm. We won’t sleep enough if we cook,” he said.
Employers TODAY spoke to said meal arrangements vary according to the location of work sites and the size of the company.
Sharing his company’s good practices, Desmond Hill, deputy general manager of Penta Ocean construction, said his firm usually delivers food to work sites an hour before meal times. Where possible, it also sets up quarters on site where workers can cook, he added.
An industry insider who wanted to be known only as Lim said some caterers are offering cheaper packages and cut back on the quality and quantity of the food.
Holland-Bukit Timah GRC Member of Parliament Christopher de Souza, who has spoken up for foreign workers’ welfare in Parliament, hopes the situation can be addressed.
He said: “I hope the workers who give up much to support their families in their hometowns will be provided healthy meals to sustain them through a hard day’s work.” — TODAY

In a country that has everything but they do still depending on foreigners is not much to say. Every developing country depending on these third world man power to contribute development.

That is not new, even neglecting their welfare is not new. Their suffering is not new. Their contribution is not new. Taking advantage of them is not new. Their wedges not paid is not new.

Living for a bowl size meal, by leaving the love one, living in terror of authorities such as, Immigration, Police, Rela, and those locals who play king on them isn't much cared.

I use look down on them. I use to look down on them, by thinking about the way they live, eat, dressed and speak and everything which is different from our way.

But I have to admit, I was not matured enough to make a correct judgement. Never know much about world.

Anyway, I am glad, at least I can think in a rational way now. At least I am not doing my same mistake twice. At least I can see them in a different way, AS A HUMAN which many dont.

Terrorist Attack - Tunisia

Gunmen wearing military uniforms stormed Tunisia's national museum on Wednesday, killing 17 foreign tourists and two Tunisians in one of the worst militant attacks in a country that had largely escaped the region's "Arab Spring" turmoil.
Five Japanese, as well as visitors from Italy, Poland and Spain were among the dead in the noon assault on Bardo museum inside the heavily guarded parliament compound in central Tunis, Prime Minister Habib Essid said.

This is JOKE if I would say. A joke that many of so called terrorist never understood that they are fighting for Zero and blatantly blind with their fights.

They have nothing to do, they have no knowledge of the their religion, they think they are right, they think they are the only truth and they think they are the supreme from GOD and they aren't sure of what they are fighting for.

Mainly, these are those that need to be educated and civilized. They need to be cleared from the cloud they were blind in, so they can see the real world just in front of them.

Peace upon those who are still in dark about GOD's teaching.

Minor Conversion - Punish

Only 11km separated rubber tapper Jilius Yapoo from his daughter at her boarding school in Kinarut, Sabah, but it was a long way on rough roads which made the journey difficult, so he entrusted the school with her safety and well-being. - See more at: http://www.themalaysianinsider.com/malaysia/article/dad-of-converted-minor-says-religion-his-right-as-parent-not-against-islam#sthash.7WAMMq9r.dpuf

The above news was cut paste from Malaysian Insider, and I was shock to hear, after four years, the father found his daughter has been converted. What a surprise for a father or shall I say for the entire family.

How this can possibly happen? It is easy to point finger, it is easy to blame someone over this issue. But in actual fact, those who involve in this conversion process should be eating shit by the name of religion. This is a uncivilised act that bring bad reputation for ISLAM.

How could this possibly happen? Can anyone explain this? Do we need to keep on asking question with out any action?

I don't have to repeat, I don't have to elaborate more, as everyone aware, we don't need rocket science to understand the basic of this process. Can anyone explain? Is this allowed to be?? converting a minor?

What does a girl under 15 years could be able to understand about the whole process? How could the converter do such an uncivilised act by converting the minor?

I would dare to say the person who involved in this, is equal to raping. Raping his/her own religion by committing such an humiliation act.

And this person should be punished. I dare anyone could act, and punish this person.

Mangkuk way of Thinking by Mufti.

Datuk Seri Najib Razak's advisers should be stricter in enforcing the rules set by Islam when the prime minister attends non-Muslim celebrations, the Perlis mufti said.
Datuk Mohd Asri Zainul Abidin said the prime minister's advisers should be firm with the event organisers to protect the sanctity of Islam.
"The prime minister's advisers should also inform the organisers not to present a garland to Najib or request that he wear Hindu attire when celebrating a religious festival," he told Malay-language daily Sinar Harian.
"They should be firm in this matter and inform the organisers of the Thaipusam celebration in Batu Caves that Najib will attend on the condition that he not take part in any Hindu ritual.
"This is what Islam forbids. Muslim leaders are not prohibited from attending other religious festivals, but there are rules and limits," he said.
He said Najib could attend the Thaipusam celebration in Batu Caves, as part of his duty as the prime minister, but should not participate in any religious ritual as it was against Islamic teachings.
"Najib can appear there dressed in a suit. There is no harm in that. What matters is that Najib attends the Hindu religious festivals because he is the Malaysian prime minister and he cares for all Malaysians," said Asri.
As an example, Asri said the Muslim police officers on duty in Batu Caves for the Thaipusam festival were not necessarily celebrating it.
"The police are protecting the public and ensuring the celebrations go on peacefully. They are not celebrating the festival, but only carrying out their duty of maintaining public peace and security."
He added that as the prime minister who cared for the interests of all race and religions, Najib should attend the religious celebrations of non-Muslim faiths.
Two years ago, Perak Mufti Tan Sri Harussani Zakaria claimed Najib had "sacrificed his faith" by attending the Thaipusam celebration, and said he advised the prime minister each year not to attend such events as it was an "idolatrous act".
But Harussani later back-pedalled on his criticism after Najib spoke to him personally, and said the prime minister had not flouted Islamic doctrine as he was not involved in a religious procession nor did he enter the cave where the main religious activities are conducted. – February 6, 2015

Mangkuk.... the attire doesn't reflect the religion of Hindu. It is only the indian cultural attire as the Malays wear baju melayu. Baju Melayu doesn't represent the attire of Islam. It is the cultural wear of the Malays not represent Islam. Hang ni mangkuk ka atau saja nak jadi mangkuk? How does you as a religious educated                              berfikiran mangkuk? Wearing garlan also does not represent Hindu religion la mangkuk. Kalau pergi Haiwaii pun orang di sambut dengan garlan la mangkuk, and it doesnt represent Hinduism.. Mangkuk mangkuk mangkuk.... I am farting because laughing at your mangkuk way of thinking.

Brothers In Arms

Jordanian fighter jets pounded Isis hideouts in Syria on Thursday and then roared over the hometown of a pilot killed by the militants, while below them King Abdullah consoled the victim's family.
An armed forces statement said tens of Jordanian fighter jets were deployed in the attacks, which destroyed ammunition depots and training camps run by the Isis. The attacks were "just the beginning", it said.
Witnesses overheard the monarch telling the pilot's father the planes were returning from the militant-held city of Raqqa. A security source told Reuters the strikes hit targets in the eastern province of Deir al-Zor and near Raqqa.
The show of force came two days after the ultra-hardline Isis released a video showing captured Jordanian pilot Mouath al-Kasaesbeh being burned alive in a cage as masked militants in camouflage uniforms looked on.
State television aired footage of fighter jets taking off to carry out the raids. Several men and women were shown writing Koranic verses and anti-Isis slogans on what appeared to be the bombs used in the attacks. It later broadcast the actual bombing, before the jets returned safely to Jordan.
US aircraft joined the mission to provide intelligence, surveillance as well as reconnaissance and targeting support, a US official told Reuters, speaking on condition of anonymity.
The official also said the strikes focused on multiple targets around Raqqa.
Military commanders briefed King Abdullah after the missions about the details of the strikes, state television said.
The monarch has vowed to avenge Kasaesbeh's killing and ordered commanders to prepare for a stepped-up military role in the US-led coalition against the group. But many Jordanians fear being dragged into a conflict that could trigger a backlash by hardline militants inside the kingdom.
Jordan is a major US ally in the fight against hardline Islamist groups, and hosted US troops during operations that led to the invasion of Iraq in 2003.
It is home to hundreds of US military trainers bolstering defences at the Syrian and Iraqi borders and is determined to keep the jihadists in Syria away from its frontiers.
State television showed a sombre king sitting alongside the army chief and senior officials visiting the Kasaesbeh tribal family in Aya, a village some 100km south of the capital Amman.
The king, wearing a traditional Arab head dress, was met by cheering crowds with cries of "Long Live his Majesty the King, Long Live the King" in traditional Bedouin chanting.
Thousands of Jordanians flocked to pay their respects. The region's influential tribes form an important pillar of support for the Hashemite monarchy and supply the army and security forces with their manpower.
"You are a wise monarch. These criminals violated the rules of war in Islam and they have no humanity. Even humanity disowns them," Safi Kasaesbeh, father of the pilot, told the king.
The Jordanian monarch has vowed that the pilot's death, which has stirred nationalist fervour across the country, will bring severe retaliation against Isis.
Hours after the release of the video showing the pilot burning to death, the authorities executed two al-Qaeda militants who had been on death row, including a woman who had tried to blow herself up in a suicide bombing and whose release had been demanded by Isis. – Reuters, February 6, 2015.

Now Everyone Can't Fly - JOE SAMAD

When I read this column, it does hit my head and the story can be related to my experience traveling to East Malaysia for work purpose back ...
